Here's what our customers say
"I am a barefoot runner for many years. Lately I have been recovering from a spinal injury, which caused a slight sensation loss in one of my heels. So, I now prefer running in my Ōdoos, as they help me deal with this loss in sensation while retaining the barefoot feel, and it's working really great. I'm starting to enjoy them very well. Ōdoo sandals have been a saviour for my feet!"

Ōdoo barefoot sandals – a game-changer in everyday comfort!
As someone who has tried several barefoot sandals over the years—including models from Xero and Canyon—I can confidently say that the Ōdoo barefoot sandals stand head and shoulders above the rest when it comes to everyday comfort.
Unmatched Comfort and Fit
From the moment I stepped into the Ōdoos, I could feel the difference. The canvas footbed is incredibly soft and welcoming, wrapping around the foot with a gentle, luxurious feel that’s simply missing in other brands. While I haven’t yet tested them for running, for daily wear—especially extended walking—they’re phenomenal.
The strap design is what truly elevates the experience. Unlike the others, the Ōdoo's straps are both secure and soft, curving ergonomically from the toe gap down the sides of the foot. It’s this angular strap design that makes the sandals feel like a natural extension of the foot rather than something strapped onto it.
Performance and Grip
I had the chance to test these sandals thoroughly during a trip to Baku, where I wore them for 7 consecutive days, clocking 8–9 hours a day on tar roads, muddy trails, and even climbing small mud volcanoes. The grip was consistently excellent, giving me confidence on inclines and uneven terrain. The sole is just thick enough to protect against sharp objects while still delivering that beloved barefoot feel.
Clean, Durable, and Odour-Free
A quick rinse with soap and water was all it took to get them clean again. Thanks to the canvas material, they dried quickly and—perhaps most impressively—showed no odour despite heavy use. That’s a rare win for any pair of sandals worn daily in mixed terrain.
One Minor Flaw
The only downside I encountered was with the clip fastener on the left sandal, which kept coming loose. Amol was kind enough to send me a replacement clip but I didn’t get around to replacing it during the trip, but I’m hopeful that the replacement clip will solve the issue. I’d chalk this up to a potential one-off problem, not a dealbreaker.
Final Verdict
The Ōdoo barefoot sandals are a clear winner for comfort, design, and daily use. They’ve redefined what I expect from barefoot footwear, especially for long walks and travel. If the clip issue is resolved, I’d easily call them the best barefoot sandals I’ve ever worn.

"I am not into running, but was looking for a footwear that could help me, as I have a pinched nerve in my foot and wearing a full shoe for more than a couple hours is painful. I really liked the minimalist design of this sandal, it is not clunky, and looks really good. Once you wear them it feels like an extension of ur feet! So, I ordered myself the 10mm Ōdoos. I am able to wear them for hours and I do not feel the pain anymore! They are pretty versatile too. I have been wearing them to the gym; as they are waterproof, I have worn them in wet weather as well as on a rafting trip. They also go well with traditional Indian attire, and I get loads of compliments wherever I go! Maybe I'll start running soon."
